This roundtable is the first opportunity for the private sector to engage with H.E. President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço as he assumes the Presidency of the African Union Heads of State Assembly.

Discussions will focus on his economic vision during his mandate as the continent is slowly returning to a growth period.

Participants will also engage with President João Lourenço on the preparation for Angola to co-host the 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit, June 23-27, in Luanda.

This discussion will take place under Chatham House rules to encourage an open discussion, without specific attribution.
