Guinea is poised to become the fastest‑growing economy in Africa, propelled by the launch of large‑scale exports from the Simandou iron ore project—the world’s largest deposit. This milestone marks a structural turning point for the country and sets the foundation for a new era of accelerated, diversified, and sustainable growth.

This breakfast session will spotlight SIMANDOU 2040, Guinea’s flagship 15‑year economic transformation program. The initiative outlines 122 priority projects and more than $200 billion in investment opportunities across infrastructure, energy, mining, agribusiness, and technology.

Convened on the margins of the 2026 IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings, the event will feature:

  • H.E. Mariama Ciré Sylla, Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget
  • H.E. Ismael Nabé, Minister of Planning, International Cooperation and Development

The session will bring together senior corporate executives, global investors, and development finance institutions to explore concrete investment pathways and strategic partnerships that can accelerate the ambitions of SIMANDOU 2040.

Please RSVP no later than Monday, April 13th.

Due to space limitations, registration is limited to one executive per organization.
