This session will explore the latest developments in Strategic Corridors, which represent a transformative approach to infrastructure development in Africa.  The Lobito corridor has helped raise awareness of the concept of Strategic Corridors by linking investments in critical minerals to regional processing and export opportunities. There are several other emerging corridors in West, Central and East Africa as well as emerging linkages between East and West Africa.  As these corridors develop, they are unlocking significant new opportunities for regional economic development to forge new connections and develop new markets, including leveraging the advent of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA).       

This Forum will feature real-time updates from senior African government officials and the financial institutions, mining, energy and logistics companies developing these projects.
