Join the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) for a virtual session exploring regulatory and market developments shaping Africa’s health sector, with a focus on Rwanda as a key case study. This discussion will convene representatives from the U.S. FDA’s African Medicines Agency (AMA) Liaison Office and the U.S. Embassy in Kigali to share timely perspectives on both continent-wide regulatory efforts and country-level market dynamics. The session will highlight how the FDA’s AMA Liaison Office is supporting AMA operationalization and advancing regulatory alignment across African markets, while also providing insights into Rwanda’s evolving health sector commercial landscape and regulatory environment. Participants will gain insights into opportunities for private sector engagement across manufacturing, health supply chains, and innovation hubs and partnerships, alongside updates on regulatory developments across the region. The session will be interactive, providing an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives on partnership opportunities and areas for alignment across regulatory and commercial priorities. This session is part of CCA’s Regulatory Harmonization series under the U.S.-Africa Health Security and Resilience Initiative (HSRI). |
