In today’s interconnected global economy, emerging markets face a rapidly evolving financial landscape shaped by dynamic global trends. From shifts in trade patterns and currency fluctuations to technological advancements, these changes pose complex challenges while presenting new opportunities.  

In this context Monetary policies play a crucial role in determining the competitiveness of countries and regions, influencing their ability to attract foreign direct investment which is critical for policymakers and financial leaders to maintain economic stability and resilience in the face of these uncertainties. 

This Forum entitled “Strengthening Africa's Competitiveness in a Changing World: The Role of Regulatory and Monetary Policies," will provide a platform to highlight key pillars influencing economic and monetary strategies which impact reserves policies.  

Discussions will center on the competitiveness of African economies relative to other markets and the role of multilateral institutions in fostering a business-friendly investment environment. 

This Forum will feature senior government officials, representatives from multilateral organizations and leading research institutions.
