Egypt recently announced plans to mobilize up to $500 billion from governments, development institutions, and private capital under the Team Africa initiative to fund nearly 300 development projects across the continent—a policy which aligns with the Trump Administration’s priorities in Africa and its policy of active commercial diplomacy. Samcrete is representing the broader consortium comprised of Egypt's largest construction and engineering firms in support of Team Africa.

Recognizing this strategic alignment between the U.S. and Egypt, senior executives from Samcrete will be in Washington D.C. and New York City from 23 to 27 March to meet with senior officials in the U.S. Government and Congress, as well as private sector leaders, to discuss collaboration on U.S.-led or U.S.-supported projects in Africa. This mission is being organized in close collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The roundtable session offers CCA Members a unique opportunity to hear directly from Samcrete about its project pipelines in road/rail, energy, utility, and industrial developments alongside their capabilities in EPC/PPP models across Africa, and to explore potential partnerships, joint ventures, or project collaborations.

Please RSVP no later than Monday, March 23 at 2:00 PM US EST
