The Trump administration is reshaping U.S. engagement with Africa. While still emerging, the new administration’s approach to the continent already differs substantially from the Biden administration, as evident by its actions on the U.S. Agency for International Development, the African Growth and Opportunity Act, South Africa and other issues. These policy developments impact CCA member interests and our mission of promoting commerce between the U.S. and Africa. They are also of great interest to our African partners. Please join us for a private discussion of the Trump Administration’s Africa policy led by President and CEO Florie Liser and long-time Africa policy watcher Tom Sheehy. This discussion is part of CCA’s monitoring of policy developments in Washington, a particularly important role given the fast pace and growing scope of change.
Please RSVP no later than March 3, 2025.
