Corporate Council on Africa is delighted to invite you to a timely and insightful discussion featuring Dr. Andrew Dabalen, Chief Economist for Africa at the World Bank Group.
Dr. Dabalen will present his forecast for Africa’s economic outlook in 2026, offering expert analysis on the continent’s evolving economic trajectory. This year’s outlook will examine the resurgence of commodities across Africa—particularly gold, copper, and lithium—driven by rising global demand for strategic minerals and sustained strength in gold prices. These trends are contributing to increased revenues, new investment opportunities, and expanding ventures across the region.
The discussion will also provide a broader assessment of the forces shaping Africa’s economic landscape, including geopolitical dynamics, global market developments, and pressing socio-economic challenges and opportunities.
The session will take place on Wednesday, February 4th. We hope you will join us for this engaging session and the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and engage with a leading expert in the field.
